Based on the positive reviews, I purchased this recently in the Burl finish as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I opened it to look at it and was so impressed, I ordered one for myself too...also in the burl finish. The problem was that I never wore much because it was not easily accessible. After 20 years, I have decided to "put all my eggs" in one basket. What fun going through everything and organizing.

It won't hold enough for those of you that have HUGE jewelry collections, but it is just right for me. This is my first jewelry box in about 20 years. We were robbed back then and my jewelry box was an easy target. Since that time, I have kept my jewelry in the individual boxes, scattered all over the place...some in drawers, some hidden, etc.

I would recommend this to anyone with a moderate jewelry collection.
